About us

Daman Quattro Limited is a joint venture between Concord Energy and Daman Investment. The company was established in October of 2007 and was originally set up in Dubai to take advantage of its strategic location between Asia, Europe and the US to cover the busy oil markets from one office. We originally started with two brokers executing futures on ICE, NYMEX and DME and are now two desks with the addition of New York with eight brokers covering futures, options and over the counter swaps. John Cross and Jamie Walker started the company after spending 5 years in the Asian crude oil market. Both previously had many years experience in financial futures markets before moving into the energy sector in Asia. With a wide customer base in Asian markets we use our contacts and relationships to bring the interest and flow of customer business directly to markets across the world. Over time we added strategic members of staff from the European and US markets working together covering all markets across the long trading day from the Asian morning to US close. This approach has been used to great advantage across our now global list of customers who use and rely on DQL to execute and view liquidity and information in the markets every day.
